These are kind of things I used to back in the 90s when I was young and wet behind the ears. Rock up to the counter feeling all smug, then the ****er would go too fast trying to keep up with the fav, and fade back into 4th place in the last 25 yards.

1/5 the odds means backing at 7/2 gives a loss . If you think the fav is beatable, why not lay it and have all the other runners on your side ?

If it wins, you'll be thinking you should have taken double the odds on the exchange, if it places you lose a bit and if it doesn't, you lose the lot.
