Last race 3m Hurdles. Fourteen hurdles to be jumped they have jumped eight. On the 2nd March at Doncaster 2m Hurdles race. Eight to be jumped, and only four were jumped. If you look at the course layouts the jumps that they jump are in clusters meaning that in Haydock's case there will be 2m out the three miles with no obstacles. I will never be convinced that the same results would happen if the full amount of hurdles were jumped. This is bound to affect Jackpots/Placepots/Forecasts/Tricasts/Quadpots as well as each way betting. I say that if the stewards know that a race is going to have more than one jump out before the off, then it should not be run. I don't believe this practice happens as much in France where I think they will get a bit more sun than us.Sad

French never miss out jumps, the obstacles extend whole width of track so nowhere for the horses to go round the fence.

The issue is the shadow on the jump side. How to do yo eradicate shadows ? With light. All it needs are a few portable floodlights placed to light up the jump side of each fence. A small cost to eradicate a big problem. Simples!
