Me having a bet. 
Deposited £10 a few weeks back,went to use it,restrictions on my account.
Spoke to or should I say online customer service.
The reason for my account been restricted & now closed due to "My Business"
I asked them to explain..Sorry its company policy not to explain "My Business"
Not had a bet & my account is closed

did it to me a few years back after 14 years with no reasoning and after a losing day!!......when i say closed it was open but max bet anywhere was £00.00....

Banks etc check credit scores then make a decision…..bookmakers could be going down the same route….
I asked one if they did credit checks….no answer Poor credit score = poor discipline……they won’t risk the heavy fines handed out by Kim Jong…. |

Bookmakers pet hate is a dormant a/c bluenose which is why some of them started charging a fee for lack of use.

Presumably you have restricted acc's elsewhere. Clever stuff at their end must know that & put the kybosh on.

"Hayden" only opened the account 2 weeks ago.
"Kev" no restricted acc's,h!lls acc & betfair. All my closed accounts were over 20 years ago moved addresses & plenty of different bank accounts since then. |

They explained my account was closed because of my "Business" I've had no business with them before. Not even a free bet. |

Your name and DOB are still on their register then. Should've asked them to delete the info under GDPR. They are obliged to keep the financial data for 6 years and then they are obliged to delete it, if that's what you requested.

B365 used to be 1/4 odds on all C4 races in the good old days, and up to £50 free bet if you had a 4/1+ winner.
They kept it for ages, and my account ran for a good couple of years before it was knocked back. Golden days. |

Didn't realise they'd done away with the 4/1 C4 free bet. Bookmaker offers and odds really gone downhill post COVID and ACs.
