Jockey absolutely got the horse beat.  Give it too much to do with the winner at least 5 lengths in front of him turning in.  That was the difference

personally i believe every horse ran on it's merits there and anyone who thinks otherwise needs help.

Looked like the jockey was well aware the tank was down, looked gutted as the horse was taking off for another circuit!
