Hi Ronnie

Remembering that thread you put up looking for winning distance preferences for those 7 " good things £ a few weeks ago , reckon there won't be many winners or even runners going by memory....

Remember

Marine Nationale
Sir Gino
El Fabiola
Constitution Hill
Galopin De Champes
Gaelic Warrior
??????????

Not sure of the other one but if that does.t put people off backing long term ante post shorties nothing will , ironically the only winner so far was the warm up flop.

Crazy unpredictable sport we all love   Happy

£100 to get in, £7.5 to have a drink & £18 for a burger that costs less than £1 to make.

Agree with Sontium, this must be a wake up call for the decision makers.

My brother was there yesterday in a group and said it was easy enough to get around without the messiness of other recent years.

Only way to get any change is for people to vote with their feet and wallet, if we say no it’s too expensive then they have to lower the prices or risk losing their cash cow

Number one thing they need to do with their profits is concrete over the car parks, where else at such a huge sporting event would you have to wear your best shoes then park on grass aka mud.

Not a surprise. You fleece customers for too long, they will eventually leave.

At least you get value in the car park, you can spend hours in it after racing.

Thing is, they will charge these prices, because they know people will always go to Cheltenham. But for the majority of us it's too expensive.

Went once Gold Cup day, never again, a horrible experience but other meetings through the winter a good day out if you can bear the cost.
