And I still don't know why bookies open them at value prices.

Grandma could back Barrel Aged, traded at odds on earlier so it's unlayable.

Pearly Island 4.1 to 3.45 before the off, mega obvious fav also. The game is so easy you can just be a grandma picking hot favs and steamers to make a profit. Who needs form analysis?
See? Nobody here said they're profiting with odds on lays, the proof is in the pudding.
The only time it's possible is when the horse has a weak market support, e.g. 1.6 to 1.8, but there's very few of those because every fav in good form steams.

i profit from odds on lays. those that drift. at least you agree with me there. So, it IS possible to profit from odds on lays.

take it none of you have paddy accounts , some times setters seem to omit full stops or comas

At odds above evens I can lay steamers too, but odds on steamers are unbeatable.
The last 5 horses I saw steam from 3+ to odds on, all won. Clown bookies thought they were 2/1 shots, LOL.

The best lay range is probably 2.5-2.99, cheap enough to lay, and they're not red hot certs.
Below 2.5 it's all LTO CD winners and hat trick seekers

It's not guessing you mug. Fav was too short for me, second fav was a useless drifter, third fav was also a drifter, so I picked a good pedigree horse from a good yard
