had an each way bet on giovinco in the race today, backed it on sunday when the e/w terms was first 3  so would have thought that is classed as ante post, it finished 3rd , but been classed as a losing bet, surely not right ?

I’m never sure about AP rules, but if it was nrnb possibly the place terms on the day come into play?

100% if bet was on sunday and there was 8 or more runners , it shouldnt be classed as a losing bet

Just depends on the market. Bet365 had both an ante-post and nrnb markets 6 weeks ago.

either you have AP with a bigger price & guaranteed e/w terms but do your money if a NR or you have NRNB a shorter price & e/w terms that vary

you can't have it both ways

if it said 1st 3 then youve no worries, but i recall last summer some bookies had  8 or 9 runners in the list, but did quote ew terms 1,2 , when they believed race would cut up
