Dunwoody the best for me. At their best I would also have Walsh and Geraghty ahead of McCoy.

Depends on your criteria. AP was ruthless and very strong. Dunwoody like Francome had much more style.

I always thought Dunwoody was as ruthless as any jockey, very single minded and driven. Riding jockeys off the track got him banned several times but he often got away with it. Great jockey though and punter friendly I thought. I remember when Johnathan Lower won the Supreme on Sondrio (Pipe had chosen him over Dunwoody the newish 1st jockey for the stable) and Dunwoody rode a no-hoper, he couldn't bring himself to congratulate Lower when they were circling after the race.

Can recall him starting off as an Amateur rider.
