Looked to be sweating and pulling hard through the race which looked ominous,then to battle back after being headed at the last was some performance,stamina a huge asset today

I always thought Nina Carberry was the best female Jockey then along came Rachel and blew her right out the water.

Slade Steel idled infront, but Blackmore had no choice except to allow him to stride along. The blessing was when Walsh took it up on Mystical Power which instigated Slade Steel to run on again and win.
I'm happy to lose to a gutsy quirky horse and Blackmore; I got my stake back from 'sly'. Hoping for better luck tomorrow in the 1st again. |
