Read it many years ago, and remember it being a good read. There were another couple of good books that came out at about the same time, by Raymond Smith: (in particular) 'High Rollers of the Turf' and also 'The Master of Ballydoyle'. I was looking recently on ebay and some of the originals are a bit pricey nowadays, so has it been reissued.

It's an absolute brilliant book. Read it 100 times over it's that good. I have the hardback and if you go online its a worth about £300-£400 if not mistaken.
