I did make a point of mentioning what a great ride young Heidi Palin gave Faivoir in the betfair hurdle last month when 5th behind Iberico Lord (3rd fav for CH), that horse runs in the Imperial Cup today and also entered in the County hurdle next week(won it last year). Incidentally is there still a huge bonus for winning both races? Has an EW chance today but a lot to do at the weights.
Wondering if as a reward to Heidi he may have said to her, "Thanks Heidi, lovely ride i'll give you your first winner of the season soon." Lass hasn't had a winner this season but was 4-10 last season. Dan has put her on top of Notnowlinda in the 4.35 Hereford and would hold a good chance on her hurdle form from 113 less her 7lb claim.
She's only ridden at Hereford once in a hunter chase which she won at 20/1, you may recall the ride as she was out of the saddle with both legs on one side at the 3rd fence but managed to stay on get her foot back in stirrup and win, amazing. Appears to have the top 2 favs to beat and has drifted this AM, but i wouldn't be surprised if Dan returns the Faivoir today.

Cottie ran ok the other day but didn’t look particularly well handicapped and I don’t think she is just going to stroll in and win here. The handicapper has her a little high. Notnowlinda is in good form but she isn’t the easiest horse to predict. She has got 7lbs off and that is a positive.

Always useful if you can read their minds, so close to a fantastic double, very good ride by Heidi, go girl.
Skelton again, Jet Plane for their treble and Faivoir just touched off.
