In the Lingfield 2.02 - In From The Cold - is the outsider of the field of 4 at 17.0 on Bf at the moment.
On the face of it he should be an outsider with only a single hurdle win in a maiden hurdle in Ireland.
But he's been falling down the handicap and his runs in January at Doncaster and Kempton in class 3 and class 2 races give him a squeak here. Those runs were off ratings of 126 and 124 with the 5lb claimer Joe Anderson on top who renews the partnership today still claiming his 5lb, and they posted adjusted timeform ratings of 120 and 131, that last rating is the best in the field.
His mark has now dropped to 117 and he runs in a class 4 hcap hurdle for the first time.
He's obviously no "good thing" but at the price he's worth the risk.

that was 3.20 time (Lingfield) , odds were only 2.1...but successful
