For a moment then, I thought you were referring to the race meeting taking place there today. Especially, on a horse racing forum...

How hilarious...

Hilarious by OP never read that before on here. I bet people like being around you to make them feel intelligent?

Its not looking promising, intending to go today as got some free tickets but need to leave by about 10.00am. There has been so much rain there is a pond at the end of my road right around the little electricity sub-station, we are all on tenterhooks...

Newbury should be called off.
The state of the ground will only turn the card into a lottery, moreover an unsafe lottery.

Jockeys should have adjusted their pace by now after weeks of heavy ground. If they don't race on heavy, we won't see much jumping in the south in the next week.

Probably still watering at Cheltenham to make sure they can use the word soft in the going descripter for the festival

Around 06:30 I noticed that the OP's green light was on so he was probably checking to see if anyone had taken the bait.

His green light went out between 07.00 and 07:05.  He/she had obviously got fed up of waiting for a response. Laugh

Just noticed that the original post has been removed
It now could appear that it was me who started the thread instead of posting the first, sarcastic, reply
Just to clarify
I shouldn't really deign these sort of threads with a reply
