Gone all day if in the States. I'm interested to know how they treat such interference in the UK, especially with the 2l winning distance.

Currently 1.12 to keep.

Expect Rico to be smashing the 'free money' on FPTP if he's up and about.

Can only be changed round if seen to be serious dangerous riding, I think he gets 5 day ban and keeps race. Taken 1.12

not a chance anyone could say 2nd would have won..he made no attempt to pull it off going to rail..wasnt deliberate so cant see it being deemed deliberate but thats only reason its 1.12.

The winner should be thrown out. Disgraceful piece of riding. However under idiot UK Stewards they can throw it out if its a short head. Morons.

if dangerous its chucked and 10 days..if not it stands and careless and 4 days.

Its just a political decision if they throw winner out, saying he's deliberately tried to injure a rival. Dont think they will here

So Rico, in your opinion how close would the winning distance have to have been for a reverse without dangerous riding?

I've just watched the replay again. The second would've won without the interference that is clear. Even putting that aside what the idiot moronic brain dead gin soaked UK Stewards are basically saying is that you can wipe out any rival horse and causing it to be stopped in its track, stumble and lose all momentum. However if the first past the post goes on to win by a length or two then result stands.
This will go to appeal.

theres no way you can say that a horse beaten 2L would categorically have won..it wasnt even closing in the last fur.

Race 7 - 8:00pm
THE BET £10 GET £40 AT BETMGM HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5)

QUANTUM FORCE collided with the rail leaving the chute. Having been checked by the Veterinary Surgeon, the gelding was deemed fit to race.

An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference approaching 1 ¼ furlongs out when the winner, OLD CHUMS (IRE), ridden by Pierre-Louis Jamin, interfered with THUNDER FLOW (IRE), placed second, ridden by Jack Enright, who in turn interfered with CASSANOS LAD, placed third, ridden by Billy Garritty. Being a 7lb claimer, Enright was accompanied by a representative of William Haggas. The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved OLD CHUMS (IRE)’s placing as although THUNDER FLOW (IRE) was tightened for room before clipping heels, losing both ground and momentum, they did not consider that this exceeded the comfortable 2-length winning margin. Therefore, the Stewards could not be satisfied that had this interference not occurred that THUNDER FLOW (IRE) would have finished in front of OLD CHUMS (IRE). Jamin was suspended for 8 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to shift left-handed without sufficient correction initially tightening THUNDER FLOW (IRE) for room causing the colt to make contact with CASSANOS LAD before a short distance later THUNDER FLOW (IRE) clipped the heels of OLD CHUMS (IRE) and stumbled.
