Legendary corrie actor John Savident aka Fred Elliott has died, RIP.

Just realised, i watched "The Saint" on ITV4 this morning and thought i recognised the bald fella playing a (Q in James Bond) type character, it was John Savident. Must have been only mid twenties then.
