If race names on the All Weather count as ads, a certain bookie and its insufferable gimmicky names for mug betting are firmly in the counter productive category.

Any advert which has a made up family consisting of highly unlikely combinations...
Eg... Dad is black, mum is mixed race, kids are Chinese...

Oh hang on, that's most of them

and its unintelligible, you're an actress love.

I don't mind those, the Curry's ones with the gangsta voice reciting goods and prices is worse.

Those who create the adverts seem to believe that if they annoy, the viewer will remember the product. I do my best to avoid products with irritating adverts, though it's almost impossible as most of them do annoy though I can proudly say I've been in a McDonald's less than approx 25 times in my lifetime. And that weight loss surgery advert where, with catchy music in the background, those who've been under the knife tell us why they chose the procedure - looking at the state of the pigs in the former pics it would not have been difficult for them to lose notable amounts by cutting out the biscuits and exercising a bit.
