Ronnie, would it be safe to assume that the fobts are the only business keeping most shops going?
|
|
By:
Reg.
The ssbts take a few quid but sad to say the over the counter in all shops in Darlo has gone through the floor plenty of silver bets but sad to say shops are not going to survive on 5p round robins what all the shops are missing are the 50 quid race to race punters most shops do not have ANY. So sad to say the answer to your question is yes the shops would NOT survive without the fobts. Hope you are well. Ronnie. |

Cheers Ronnie
I thought that was the case Remember only 6 or 7 years ago that a Saturday afternoon in a busy shop would have twenty or so "race to race" punters, betting to various amounts |

Went through the ap bets for Cheltenham today sad to say the 4 bets would not pay for a decent lunch. Ronnie. |
|
By:
It doesn't help when you're not sure which race they're going to run in
You used to be pretty sure if a novice was going for the Supreme, the race now called the Ballymore or even a handicap |

Out of the four ap bets the shop has taken not one is for the champion hurdle qm stayers or the gold cup sad times. Ronnie. |
|
By:
Yeah going forward, difficult to see where the horse racing punters are going to come from. Suppose there will always be some but the game will be up for the vast majority in the not to distant future.
Can't see the next generation picking up the gauntlet so big changes ahead for many involved in racing. |

Keep up wingerwanger!
btw reading out questioners' names is boring for all of us who aren't the questioner's mum. |
|
By:
I enjoyed this interview, as I do all of them.
Wingerwanger is an excellent betting content producer. |
|
By:
Personally do not find the reading out of questioners names boring.
So not all of us. |
|
By:
You are @botr999 AICMFP. Good question btw.

I wonder if Dean Valentine will come to regret mentioning putting on for other people. Hopefully none of his bookmakers watch this series.

Is that it or is there more to come?
Part 2 is labelled 2/2 in the description but 2/4 on screen. |

I was waiting for more.
Perhaps that is it then. |
|
By:
Yeah, what happened to the rest of it?
Was the guest not happy with the editing or something? Some comments on YouTube suggesting lots of it has been cut out. Or is that it, was that the full rip?! |

Parts 3 and 4 were supposed to be his views on affordability, financial checks, black markets etc. Maybe the Starsports legal boys have stepped in, particularly if he's explaining how to get money on 'illegally' etc.
