Several good posters have been driven away from here….for unnecessary abuse.
I remember several..eg The Imperial Commander boss, who was open and amenable but TOLD to GO AWAY and post on an owners forum. Jamie Snowden had a go when assistant to Henderson, … told to f…off as a fraud. He posted as Lamborn. After considerable patience, he retorted to “go and boil yer heads” This place used to be like a good pub, where like for like you good have a good beer and natter…. then the bores come in and scream nonsense to empty the place. |

TBF this is the most active forum - look at the other forum categories on here, they are barely alive, even the footy forum is dying on it's 'rse really - and that used to be hugely active.
Smaller forums like Tennis (a massive sport and some huge betting in the exchange) struggle and all just often use the 'post in one thread' approach - at least this racing one is far more active than that. |

problem is plenty wont add input or opinions mainly due to attacks and personal abuse ,only a very few put up opinions nowdays ,you need the skin of a rhino tbf, we all back plenty of losers, part and parcel of the game and dont need abuse especially from those who wouldnt have the arshole to actually put one up themselves . would imagine plenty of canny forumites look in on the posts but wont comment or add to threads which is a loss the forum as they could have usefull input or opinions that could help others. the chelt and ante post forums are less toxic but very quiet save for a handful of regular posters.

This place heading the same direction as the Irish Forum which is now as dead as John Cleese's Parrott,the only reason this place is still going is because it had more members contributing to start with.
Like this place we had many a good contributor from inside the game but they all got chased off by the to$$ers. |
