He does/did work on the Daily Mail. Also worked for Oddschecker. Racing TV stuff probably only ever 'pocket money'. Fingers in as many pies as possible. You can never have enough pies should be the moto of these pundits. Not surprising you hardly see any new faces.

Neesom has a bad case of sciatica, so not been able to get out since well before Christmas. The last I heard, four weeks ago, was that his recovery was proceeding, but slowly.

Hope he's back soon. The Clint Eastwood of pundits, with his cheroots and no-nonsense approach to the game.

This is worrying I'm agreeing with Mitolo's Beau Brummel observation - spot on.

you should be knocking one out as youve gone from being a million to long odds-on

An update: Neesom is still hoping to be back by March, but his recovery is taking longer than expected.

I like Neesom and is outlook own the game, see him at Cocklebarrow P2P the year before last, didn't have the balls to say hello and have a chat. Also see Oisin Murphy walking around with sunglasses on that wasn't needed

they were needed, otherwise you would have recognised him

Having reached for the mute button after enduring about 25 seconds of Megan today, I'd also like to wish Jonathan a speedy recovery.
