I was messing about in the place market.
it was just a small bet to tryand rounf up my my bank which was 2 quid short of a rounded fifure.
I fiver on the horse was 1 .44 to win 1.54 to lay....so I put up 5 @ 1.52 it went to 1.5 immediately I put in 1.48 it went to 1.46
but there was noone laying at those prices for the price to change according to Price, Exchange Available and Traded
Got me beat

It happens to me also SS....agree very strange.....
Salmon , do not play games with the ghost bot, he offered you 1.44 and fully expected you to take it.
Bots have wrecked this exchange but nothing will change now.

Could have 1.52 one side and 1.62 other side with £1.00 or £2.00 in all the boxes. I will back at 1.57 for £120.00 and it is immediately taken
As Andrew Black said, an exchange requires 3 things: Liquidity, Liquidity and Liquidity.
Seeems to be failing in that respect

When I go to cancel my bet cause the price has shortened I seem to then suddenly get matched at my original price
