That was incredible.

It's been a long,hard day but I got a great buzz from that despite no financial involvement.

Super effort after a long season and over a trip on the sharp side. Class and courage in spades. I wish she was racing on.

The horse only won because he took the rail at the right time, many would not have tried the move let alone ridden into it when accelerating. It's all about opinions, that move was the difference between success and failure given the winning margin, for everyone that watched bar you.

Top riders in the past lock them in…..obviously you haven’t witnessed them

we are not talking about the horse & jockey who left a small gap, we are talking about the jockey who took the gap at exactly the right time and without hesitation.

I would like to think so….a gap appears at the most important part of the race what do you expect….na you go….it happens every day almost around the small tracks…taking the rail route is always a gamble ..

You’re focussing on one detail when then entire ride was excellent ie ensuring a fast getaway from the gates, securing a good position, settling the horse into a nice rhythm, staying patient, asking her to quicken at the right time and then keeping her up to her work.

I never said anything about gate speed or any other,it was a good capable ride but the gap thing has tamed many over the years…

They get the gap its the next thing since sliced…..unlucky on the snaff all the w@nkers under the sun if punted….

The European jockeys are generally unbackable on dirt,but they do seem to have the edge on turf. Which is surprising as they are invaribly riding against the top US jockeys who have plenty of experience on turf.

I tend to be the David Elsworth thinking type regarding jockeys,99% horse prepared by staff
