cracking looking 2.4mile novice hurdle and the unbeaten gidleigh park looks the part on paper unbeaten  3 from 3 and comes under the could be anything bracket  and is they" sexy " one here but the whole field is full of unexposed types who should progress and tbh he is too short for me.he may win but i will  take him and the front of the market on . jonjos could go close but to short imo, i backed a couple last night and this morning and hendos lucky place was around 14/1  that looked too big to me ,on ratings he has a bit to find but 3 2nds and 1 win from 4 runs he has a bit of race exp is with the right connections and the 2nd to golden is a very smart bit of form he was giving that one a stone and btn 3/4 of a length and golden ace had good form in bumpers last year finishing 2nd to dysart enos in the aintree bumper , lucky place needs to step up but so do the lot of them and around 10/1 now could be worth a pop ew /win and place . i also have had a crack at the so called 2nd string choc a block who is the lowest in on official ratings but is progressive and although he has seemingly plenty to find could be a lot better than he has shown ,the yard had a 2nd string go in on sunday at a decent price and the fact hendo pitches him here tells me he thinks he may be usefull and worty of his place here . and a massive price 40/1 b354 appeals each way.  if the fav proves too good so be it but ew gives yer a chance of a place at least who knows as ever luck and guesswork required .
SELECTIONS LUCKY PLACE 10/1 & CHOC A BLOC 40/1 B365 EW GOOD LUCK OPINIONS ENCOURAGED.

Foyles, I was assuming your ew picks were when the original 8 runners were still in?

Foyles, don't know how to find the figures, but I imagine it went sub 1.5
Other one only on top last 75 yards
Looked the winner to me over the last

Approximately 1.1. Burke actually allowed the ru to go past, and fooled the in runners a bit. He claimed after the race it was by design, but suspicion is that he would have had his pocket picked if beat, but horse was good enough to get him out of trouble.
