did you really 'jamee'...?
i will take that as a compliment even tho it was probably meant as a conspiracy theory issue. |
By:
he didn't actually zoom in tbh 'jamee'...
the lad in the van switched camera... and instead of us seeing the full picture we got the favourite in full flight... in the meantime the winner is catching it hand over fist... just one of those things tho right ? ![]() ![]() |
By:
why oh why do they do that? not for the first time
|
By:
eh we don't do conspiracy theories on here thank you very much mrs p.

They Xoom in,to try and bring you closer to the action,to bring the joy into your living room.
Most people employed in tv production, have some sort of artistic leaning.so they try and bring that to life in their coverage. But everyone one watching just wants to see, what’s 2nd,3rd,even winner backers who are worried about a fast finnisher. It was so much easier watching it on teletext in the 80s,updating and waiting, was better than watching the race. |

Another, similar, Thread was stated just a couple of hours ago ... Getting fed up of tv close ups on sole horse in run in ! brians 22 Jan 24 14:00 Why do cameramen do extreme close ups ( usually over jumps )of the leader on the run in. Some of us back for a place or forecast. In the last race at Plumpton I had no idea who was battling for places after the last. I'm sure when I go racing I don't just watch the 20 length leader on the run in ! MJK 22 Jan 24 14:03 It's ridiculous. Not long now as well for the flat season to be blighted by the ITV camera in the 'van', making every race look as though it's on a carousel. sparrow 22 Jan 24 14:15 These camera people are pretty clueless when it comes to showing people what they need to see. I suppose someone might be in charge of what they should be doing but Football is even worse when they show a replay of something you saw 30 seconds earlier rather than seeing what is actually happening at the present time. onlooker 22 Jan 24 14:20 It is their 'ARTISTIC EGOs' - and their 'Interpretation' - getting in the way of .... What the VIEWERS Actually WANT (and NEED) to see. ![]() ![]() brians 22 Jan 24 14:22 Absolutely agree. |

it must be great to have about half a dozen angles at your fingertips and choosing which one to show the mug public.

it's a powerful position to be in tbh.

These ar5es are taking over all sports. In golf they stay focussed on the golfer after the shot (presumably in the hope of some controversial reaction) and we are left guessing where the ball has gone.

fook me small golf ball hit 100 yds in the air ,into a background of cloud, sun etc, the marshalls.crowd, players reactions around tee give you a 90% steer if its a decent drive, plus shot tracker on most tee shots these days, cameramen are basically guessing at what line a player will hit it
