Why do cameramen do extreme close ups ( usually over jumps )of the leader on the run in. Some of us back for a place or forecast.  In the last race at Plumpton I had no idea who was battling for places after the last. I'm sure when I go racing I don't just watch the 20 length leader on the run in !

It's ridiculous. Not long now as well for the flat season to be blighted by the ITV camera in the 'van', making every race look as though it's on a carousel.

These camera people are pretty clueless when it comes to showing people what they need to see. I suppose someone might be in charge of what they should be doing but Football is even worse when they show a replay of something you saw 30 seconds earlier rather than seeing what is actually happening at the present time.

It is their 'ARTISTIC EGOs' - and their 'Interpretation' - getting in the way of .... What the VIEWERS Actually WANT (and NEED) to see.  CrySad
