Same every year. It's pathetic, and should be called out. You only ever get two or three go to Punchestown. Spirit of competition appears to be dead.

Dead in the water, the potato merchant sends most of his to Ireland, probably 99%
Northern racing is moderate like watching in slow motion…..and has sub zero chance of competing |

I wonder what the spread will be for an Irish destruction at Cheltenham on British soil…….”best in the world for racing”

How things have changed galmoy the only Irish winner when the north of England dominated national hunt racing
Regarding the topic it’s very poor that we have so few runners at leopardstown and punchestown Henderson in particular should know how we’ll received an English winner is the reception sprinter sacre got was incredible and the mare who won at the Dublin festival also got a good cheer |

I think Henderson thinks it was racing at Punchestown (after Cheltenham and Aintree) that broke Sprinter Sacre.

As opening poster mentioned a huge part of the crowd is from the uk I noticed last year on the Friday night in Dublin the amount from England who were going racing you could have been forgiven for thinking the English rugby team was playing

Well as the great Michael Dickinson said sprinter did go missing in action for a season

Sprinter is the best national hunt horse I’ve ever seen did anything get near him the year he did the 3 festivals?

Incidentally it was a record crowd at punchestown for the Tuesday he ran

He was utterly awesome at Cheltenham and Aintree.
