I keep daily totals by day in my database so for interest I ran a report to give me an analysis by day. I list the days below in order of "success"
Saturday Wednesday Friday Monday Thursday Sunday Tuesday I expected Saturday would be the best and Sunday, Monday and Tuesday to be the bottom three, Not quite but not far off. |

Last few years I've always thought by and large Sunday to be a bookies benefit on both flat and jumps. Seems an endless amount of shorties get turned over on Sundays.

I don't find a massive difference in earning potential between different days - although days with very limited racing of course can reduce potential, in particular the days when they are all called off - then it's a big fat 0.

Also depends on your own methods or style in punting. Some will vary due to things like amount of racing, some will be less effected by the choice of races available.

I find the Friday of a 2 day meeting can be profitable. Top yards often introduce nice horses and there are plenty of novice/maidens on the Friday while Saturday is more competitive.
