prices are ahead of YOUR action Mr.Hunt...

some folk see things before YOU do...

YOUR account has a minimum 1 sec delay on it...

if you were live at the track and had a 0 sec in running delay account i reckon you'd be getting matched well before clowns like me sat at home watching BLV.

It's not completely outside the bounds of possibility that there is some GPS data available, but it's certainly not widely available via TPD. It wouldn't explain your experience anyway though Rico, as TPD is exactly the same latency as drone.

Using TPD to lay fallers at 1000 would eventually blow your bank. It only takes the transponders to drop out or stop working.

do your homework jamee..TPD is accurate to within 0.2 secs,

I've been using TPD for nearly 3 years. Perhaps are you confusing latency with the refresh rate? Refresh rate is 200ms, latency is in-line with drone.

jamee..fyi...the drone pics are about 0.6 behind live..the prices are 100% ahead of the action.

What is the TPD Latency?
By using radio frequencies we can transmit the data very fast and you should expect it to arrive into your platform in under 100ms.

The 100ms is data latency from their server to yours. Doesn't include time to collect or process the data, or the 200ms refresh rate. 0.6ms sounds about right sourcing via a third party which I do. Perhaps slightly quicker is available via direct feed, but to my knowledge that is only available for commercial enterprise.

You should at least try it so you can see for yourself. Otherwise you're just guessing based on potentially invalid assumptions.

I have another theory to throw out there.

Suppose the market makers that provide the volume up through the ladder are getting quicker at cancelling their positions? Obvs there is no delay to cancel so cancelling will always beat placement. Perhaps they are getting better pics than they were before? Perhaps they now have access to drone footage?

If there is a dumb money churn of say £10 per second and the ladder sits as below at point of falling, then the £10 already in placement process would only fill up to 50, leaving you to hoover up the rest if you're quick enough.
20    £5
50    £5
100    £5
200    £5
300    £5
400    £5
500    £5
1000    £100

But in an example where the market makers are able to cancel quicker, leaving the ladder below at point of falling, then the £10 already in placement process would immediately fill up the whole lot and suddenly there's 1000 in the pink before you can get on.
20    £1
50    £1
100    £0.5
200    £0.5
300    £0.5
400    £0.5
500    £0.5
1000    £5

Interested in peoples thoughts.

gps data 0.2 behind live instructs bot to adjust prices via momentum/deceleration..

clicker susing drone 0.6 behind.

ewe do the maffs.

Or if you're a market maker cancelling your position, you've got at least a whole second to beat the fastest finger. Even if just with like-for-like pics.

Marker makers or house money makes no difference - still have a whole second to cancel positions. Perhaps you used to be ahead of them and so could beat their cancel, but now they're level? It's a possibility to consider, at least?

so 'jamee'...

when you were doing US for years...

why didn't you do UK stuff at the same time ?

and for someone only 6 months in to their UK stint you seem very clued up on all sorts of aspects surrounding it tbh.

I used to trade US 7 days per week from around 5pm to 3am. That's 70 hours per week. UK racing is more like 50 hours per week. 120 hours per week would have been a bit much. Laugh

i see...

and just one more Q from me...

why did you suddenly start coming on threads i started and calling me a Conspiracy |Theorist and all that crap?

i mean i hadn't even heard of you up until a few weeks ago...

then all of a sudden you are attacking me due to some of my observations...

it's the behaviour of someone i have conversed with in years gone by and who has vanished...

only to return under a different username...

but they carry on chatting as if they were under their 'old' username...

it's odd tbh.

why play on US markets ?

does seem odd to me tbh.
