hulk, I still, after all this time, don't get your thing with the £108 man you call 'padi'.
Either - he's taking bad prices, so the other side is winning (which is us, if you are right that padi=BF), so why care?
Or - he's taking good prices, and since you can see what he's going for, why don't you do the same?

The point is hulk places a bet on his selection but paddi jumps in front of him relentlessly pushing the price in on the selection hulk wanted to back but has been unable to get matched

So, I've had this discussion with hulk before without getting anywhere:
- I constantly jump in front of people when placing an unmatched bet - I pretty much always put it up at a price that will make it the best offer on the 'other' side. Where does hulk get his bee in his bonnet that this is 'padi' and not just another punter? And does he believe he is being personally targeted or should we all expect the same?
- my point above stands - if 'padi' jumping in at a worse price is still value (to 'padi') then hulk ought to have gone for that price himself and not expect to be taken at a better price than others are prepared to offer. If the jumping means 'padi' is putting up a price that is not value to 'padi' then whoever takes it (ie us) is getting value.

Long. Think i have explained this, but one more time. How do i know it's Padi ? This revolves around the £108 bets. Allow me to explain. I've seen at least twice, in long distance races when the race goes in-running a bet of £108 appearing one tick below the price i'm asking for. Values at this stage are typically £4, £7, £5 etc. So £108 sticks out like a sore fkng thumb, but the bot doesn't care about what things look like, they haven't built emotion into it, yet. Doesn't appear anywhere else, just one tick under mine. Now, add that to all the other £108's i see appearing under my bets and it must be someone who can identify individual bets / accounts. The only person that has that information is Padi, you don't i don't Rico doesn't. If i place £20 up for Gerrots in the 630 at 8.4 you don't know that is me, so you can't go £108 at 8.2 But Padi does. He has access to information nobody else has.
As for why does he do it. It's simply to move markets away from trades. But what that does is creates an "artificial" price on here that is followed by the industry SP. It's probably quite a big issue. Integrity wise.

keep in mind if you have a powers account and you back one at 9/4 when it's 3.2 to lay here you will be closed down immediately. thats how badly he takes trading. so why is he going to sit back and watch people do it on his exchange ?
answer is he's not.

watched that race at Wolves. hardly a bet over £20 seen i/r until the finish.
but we are to believe at the start of a 3 mile chase i put up a few quid at 10.5 and all of a sudden "someone" decides they want a 3 figure sum on the same horse. and that 3 figure sum just happens to be £108. didn't want jack on it before i placed my bet. all of a sudden .... i fancy that one enough to have £108 on it.
just complete BS.

So, hulk, I think I suggesed last time if you/we want to nail this - which if you are right would be a case for the regulator - steps would be:
- you find a betting pattern that attracts 'padi', reproducibly - you get a friend with a BF account to log in on your PC with your IP address, make the same bets and see if it attacts the same pattern - some of us volunteer to do the same from our PCs at home and see
Then we can tell (a) if it's just you (b) if you're being tracked by account ID or by IP address etc
And then we might have something to go on.
And as for your guess as to "why?" - "It's simply to move markets away from trades." - how does that work? If it's BF they literally make their living from you (me etc) get matched and paying commission/PC or (on the odd occasion we lose) the punter on the other side doing so - what incentive do they have to stop you getting matched?
Apologies, I am genuinely trying as hard as I can to understand where you are coming from on this one.
