Horseracing has always been a minority sport. Darts used to be (don`t know if it still is) the most participated activity (nearly said sport) in the UK. Easier to buy a set of Darts than even a minute share in a horse. I used to go to many Darts events and drink was drunk by the gallons and I never ever seen a fracas. Can`t say the same about racing and it seems to be worse now. Better behaved drunks at the Darts.

.... and you get a friendlier crowd at the Darts and enjoy the social aspect with total strangers. You can go to a racetrack and walk about all day and nobody will talk to you, except your own social group. I`d rather go to the Darts.
