Someone posted a new b365 ad in the States, bet $1 get £365 in free bets. Disgraceful practice from Denise. |

Plenty of people on this very forum think free bets are great to get and so there is no chance of bookmakers ceasing this practice.

I think there is a distinction between loyalty free bets as a sort of cashback, compared with new customer enticements.

They need to stop all these gimmicks but there again I don't use them myself so perhaps I should just ignore all the ranting and raving about the way they conduct their affairs.

At what point do bookmakers get sued for using
addiction of gamblers as part of marketing strategy. Tobacco companies thought they were safe... |

marketing strategy ? they actively sought out addicts via use of algorithms etc - probably still do - and invited them all to a hospitality tent to make sure they kept throwing their money away with them. same way the vegas casinos do with the high rollers (aka the rich mugs).
anyone gambling responsibly, not losing quickly enough, showing any sign of acumen - they got binned |

Free bets are the ONLY reason i ever bet with bookies. Without them its totally illogical as exchanges always offer bigger prices
