Starts today with Cheltenham, where other meetings start earlier or later to clear out the time between 2pm and 4pm so all eyes are on the big meeting.

So today in this time slot, we have 4 Chelt races alongside 14 other uk races, not to mention the Irish stuff. Looks like any ordinary Saturday to me.. ??

It's Monday. I guess it's only Saturdays when they move the other meetings to leave three. Bit of a dog's dinner ?

if we,re having 10 o clock starts,4 o clock starts, and 6 o clock evening startsas well as normal premier starts , can only be a matter of time before rule stopping jocks riding at multiple meetings is scrapped

Quite possibly but while allowing jockeys to ride at more than one meeting is great for the millionaires at the top, it's no good for those struggling at the bottom, whether youngsters trying to break in to the game or journeymen who will never be first choice.

The other way around shirley. The so called 'journeymen' have been the beneficiaries, picking up some first choice rides.

Yes. Sorry. That is what I'm saying. The current one meeting limit favours unfashionable jockeys. Return to a free-for-all would mean the top jockeys take all the best rides and most of the money.
