Yep, thread had me watching the ballet dancer's GNS a moment ago. Interference to Posse was 3f out. Phillip Paquet later received life restricting injuries when riding in HK ( close to being killed) when aboard the same horse that Brian Taylor was to lose his life on. Had previously been called Harvester something when trained by Michael Jarvis.

|
By:

Docklands Express about 1990?
Getting the April Sandown race after a stewards, the last big race of the traditional season back then, what's it called? Was just eased across the course all the way from the last to the line Remember it cos it won me a few quid and I'd have been fuming if on the fptp Kim Bailey horse as I recall |

Whitbread? Just came to me
|
|

|
By:
Mr Confusion - 1992 John Smiths Magnet Cup at York.
Backed it antepost and he won cosily but was ridiculously demoted to third by the stewards. Was then reinstated as winner on appeal. ![]() |

2000 guineas 1980
It was a bit of a rough race but Nureyev won it fair and square. Eddery finished 3rd on Posse, on dismounting shouted Pacquet (Nureyev) nearly killed me. Result changed for Known Fact, first classic for Khalid Abdullah. |

That’s a good one, nearly started the thread with this! Rose Ravine, nearly put Crimson Embers on the members lawn after the last. The jockey on CE was allegedly ordered not to object by the same owner as the winner….presumably as Rose Ravine was a mare & black type would be prevented! |

By:
Just a few from top of head..
1972 Chelt Gold Cup Glencaraig Lady/Royal Toss.. 2nd obj. 1989 Oaks.. Aliysa - doping 1998 Juddmonte Intl.. Eddery/Dettori/Fallon all whip violations, caused a change in whip rules.. 2007 Prix de l'Arc... Dylan Thomas/Fallon - French Stewards - result stood.. |

By:
Bumper at Chelts, think Rhinestone Cowboy was involved
|
|
By:
Then there's last year's Norfolk Stakes.. The Ridler/Paul Hanagan furore..
|
|
By:
Yes, the Cheltenham bumper one I was on the wrong end of
Nearly put mine over the rails Pocket talking of course |
|
By:
Yes, that was the one I would have put up. Pizarro for O'Grady/Spencer. To this day I think that result dubious because O'Grady trained for Magnier (the owner of the second), and this came a couple of years after the Nick Dundee disappointment. A case of the second not wanting the win?
Rock Roi lost a couple of Gold Cups in the early 70's. |

Sagace and Cahervillahow, two worst reversals in betting history btw Casemoney Battleship Bruce the more likely horse you are thinking of, Seb Sanders but same as Ballinger no Stewards?
