Cannot remember ever seeing this before, has anyone?
Apart from that in reality it is 3 year old plus give or take a couple of days in terms of a horses age in racing terms. Intriguing from a handicapping perspective in that the 2 year olds get a hefty weight allowance which as far as I know would not be so generous in a few days time e.g 3 yo from older horses.
Could not back the 2 year old at 2/5 so had an ew Smasher @ 8s just for an interest anyone having a go?

2 year olds 1st and second but would the result be the same next week when classed as 3 year olds, not sure it would be and barely a Seller in reality?

The two year olds carried 8-9 except the winner on 9-1. Take it that 6lb was for the win. Most of the time before the race Tofty was asking whether the fav could manage a 11lb higher mark ( 65 ) as if it was a handicap. He was 4/9 because it wasn't a handicap.

I can't ever recall a race with those conditions but perhaps I might have missed one or two. It was interesting to say the least and perhaps we need a few more.

The 8.30 is a race for 2yo+ It is not possible to search for these on the stats pages or system builder because the sample size is just to low. Since our records began (1990) just 6 out of 57,888 All Weather races were for 2yo+ |

The race has been run at Southwell on the same date for the last 6 years. It was divided last year.
