Strange there is no inspection when it's been heavy rain since early hours? How can they run a Welsh National in this. It's due to rain all day until 4pm. There will barely be a finisher.

At 717am the official going was soft good to soft in places on the chase course
The concern is heavy rain is due for nearly 3 hrs before off time, it will be likely be unraceable by grand National time.Live on ITV, it will be an unedifying sight, will be amazing if we get 3 finishers and then you will have animal rising being given air time again!
I imagine it will get abandoned after the 3rd race so no refunds.Chepstows quote, "racing is on, our hospitality is sold out"...says it all!
Them Jockeys have to be told as soon as you feel your Horse getting tired you pull it up....Nothing worse than seeing a Horse stagger over the line.
surprised limerick got going, anyone that saw the munster leinster game last night will know how much rain fell on the track yesterday ...
any other chepstow meeting be off in a heartbeat
