Wont run in the Gold cup next year as a 6yr old.

Only one horse since Mill House in 1963 has won it as a 6yr old [Long Run/albeit french raced early doors].
Brutal race for a novice.

Could run in the RSA[Brown Advisory] as a GC trial but why run for a first prize of 100K when it can win the French Gold cup and trouser $550K (albeit 30 furlongs).

Too much of a stretch to win at the festival in march, and keep it fresh for the French race in late May.

Back to Kempton for the KG next Xmas

Not sure about that - the French co-owner is desperate to win a Grande Steeplechase de Paris, and the English co-owner is desperate to win a Cheltenham Gold Cup. The English one is one of the UK's top 50 land owners - I doubt he needs the cash from JP.
