No invitation to family X'mas dinner for her then. Neither will be the owner of BMG to be pleased with her statement. But, I'd prefer BMG and Shishkin (if he jumps off) before Allaho. I think Allaho would be 'evens' or a shade odds-on (not 13/8) if he was back to his previous form prior to injury.

Haydock was too early post Wetherby and even a moron would have known that unless Nicholls was after prize money or self interest only; 10% for being 2nd was still mega bucks for Nicholls despite his enormous wealth.

No doubt there will be a poster on during the week saying Irish horses shouldn't be allowed run in the KG....

What was the in-running price of the winner? I'd him at 16/1 with 365 to ensure a 'green' on Bravemansgame the last leg of my multiples.

'acey', thanks. I was watching the front 3; the rest were nowhere 3 out. I thought it would still be between the front 2 when Shishkin met with a misfortune.

With so much doubts over the first three in the betting i sensed an upset but never followed it through.

It emphasises how Nicholls treats punters with contempt. Not sure how those in racing can complain about new punters not being attracted to racing when the kind of help he gives them is equivalent to showing you how to burn your own wallet.

It isn't just him. Elliot leading punters on with Gerri Colombe at Kempton another example and this is just the third most important chase in the calendar so nobody is paying attention right?

So when anyone involved in racing or prmoting it mentions punters not turning to racing and it's funding issues in future how about they stfu and look at themselves instead to acknowledge they were the last in making it a punter friendly sport. Racing never had to compete with other sports as a betting medium in the past. It has now and with the age old attitudes nothing is likely to go into reverse.

Followed racing since i was 18 and saw Nicholls didn't have Bravemansgame ready for his first two runs. What chance does a novice punter have in knowing which trainers run their horses trying their best at hugely varying fitness levels. They don't have a chance really.

Maybe the punters God's have been confining Nicholls horses to 6 races and six 2nd's today at Kempton

I 'lay' the winner at odds no shorter than 40 here. But, have had to back him to manage position when money came for him to 12/1 yesterday.

The winner was matched at a high of 660 in running. Unlike the RP I know this as a fact.
