Is this the first year it has been done as an online survey?
I had a quick look at the first couple of questions. The one about Wikipedia seemed an unwise choice as Wikipedia entries are subject to constant revision.

Then I got bored. I've never managed to get all the answers which tempers enthusiasm.

Had a pop at this last night. Half a bottle of whisky later and down to 2 or maybe 3.
5. Which of these was a big-race winner for Michael Buckley? Cocaine won the 1980 running of York's Acomb stakes but no owner details as yet.
26. Which Grand National-winning trainer had ridden a 100-1 shot in the Champion Hurdle for the Queen Mother? Fred did ride on occasion and I'm sure Nick gaselee rode for Fulke [trained for the queen mum] Placed horses in Champion Hurdle: Worcran (3rd 1965), Makaldar (2nd 1967, promoted from 3rd), Escalus (3rd 1970)
10. What did Classic winners Blair Athol, Exhibitionnist and Rodrigo De Triano have in common? Pretty certain they are all misspelt place or historic character names but could have been a twin.
Could trade an answer or two

Question 8 is interesting because the answer was given in last Wednesday's Racing Post, almost certainly after the quiz was compiled. Paul Robson is the undertaker.

I think they will have to void Q2 unless there's a "questions/answers as at time of publication" rule. I do it every year, once won £50 runners-up prize with Stan James ( shows how long ago it was). Last year my Google skills let me down on one pesky qustion which was in fact easily found! FWIW, Q26 - no specific reference found, but Gaselee also rode for Peter Cazalet who trained for Queen Mother. Cannot find specific reference for Q7 although dead-heat run-offs were stopped in 1931 and unnamed runners in 1941. Can't find references to triple dead-heats in UK. A horse running twice in two days has definitely happened more recently. Q11 is baffling me. And Q15 I reckon Marshall by process of elimiantion (I presume Q refers to Feb 29). Oh, and 33. I know D was his first winner in USA, but don't know if he had flat winners in UK. So I'm five Qs off the pace at ther moment!

RUBY’S RUN-OFF When the judge at Newbury could not split Ruby’s Love and Walloon at the end of the 7f Berkshire Handicap, a dead-heat was ruled and what is believed to be the last run-off to decide a race followed – which was won by Ruby’s Love. https://www.starsportsbet.co.uk/sharpe-mind-living-up-to-expectations/
