When national radio is telling people not to visit Cumbria, it is surprising that Carlisle is raceable.

Whether it goes ahead or not police well out of order with the comment "don't travel to Cumbria "   Don't know of any problems for those using A1/A69

A twitter comment re Carlisle inspection at 11.15 "I'm sorry but if it's called off now you have made a massive error. People have started travelling now. Given the conditions an early decision should have been to call off if there was the smallest of doubt."

to be honest though unless your a connection to a runner, would you seriously be stupid enough to travel to the course knowing theres a chance it would be called off?

Where are the Racing TV presenters? Hiding away, or not turned up? What's the point if they are not giving updates?
