That's very sad to hear, he was a great character in Brookside when it was at its peak, was equally as good in funny scenes and dramatic scenes. Dean Sullivan has died at just 68 yo from prostate cancer, loved his character and will be missed. A reminder to all of us around this age to keep an eye on our waterworks and get checked out at earliest symptoms. Rip Dean/Jimmy.

Jimmy Corkhill did keep that show going and Dean played him superbly but PEAK Brookside was before Jimmy even showed up in it, Billy Corkhill did.

thank you cherrykins for your noble thoughts based on compassion and not poking fun as others would on here
i will answer honestly, as that is the least you deserve for your entreaty
not that old, but not young either and not far off. not divorced but single and have been a long time. drinking and gambolling ive done like no other, but it was more my relentless refusal to go and stay home that did for my 'relationships' as we must call them nowadays. women like the fun for a while but when you dont come home for 5 days they soon tire of it
the advent of notfair meant i stopped digging holes in the road and as a result, had a rare ol time until it went pear-shaped, as im a d1ckhead and carried on like it would last forever
and dats de troof
your senses betray you. i have no ego and genuinely dont givvash1t what anyone thinks or says
it is no pain. it probably should be given what a cobblers ive made of things. but im indestructible in that sense. sadly not physically-fell off me bike a few months ago and am ruined. hardly walk now
now oening bottle 3

My Mum was on the till in Asda, she told me yesterday after the sad news came out he came through one day and my Mum said his boyfriend was the most handsome man she has ever seen in her life, talking to her she said during her twenty five years there she also served Alison Steadman, Derek Acorah, John Aldridge and two from Frankie Hollywood as she said. She also served The one with dogs from The Real Thing ham on the bone on the bacon counter. Good times she said with a proper cheap canteen and overtime and double time on bank holidays etc, all gone now with single pay and canteen well gone like most places..

Was that in Liverpool mitolo or where she lives now, my Mum went to see Derek Acorah years ago. He said she would get a red carpet, he was spot on. She got one fifteen years later.

Wasn't he Jimmy's brother, with being a joiner my mate done some work around the set and was always taking me there but it didn't come off. I went off to Algeria instead and missed out on seeing Barry, Terry and Bobby.
