Becoming a bit silly now with no AW meetings scheduled.

Very annoying. What do trainers really want with the going? It is either too firm, or too soft, never just right. Prize money going begging today for simply hacking a horse around in most of the races.

Will be like a ploughed field after a couple of races

Could be only 4-5 runners in the King George no wonder the Irish have better horses they run theirs more and are not frightened for the good ones to take each other on.

What happened ? Was there an expected sudden biblical downpour?

Why all the non runners, didn't they know the track was flooded ?
Trainers don't so themselves any favours |

Yes he will go chasing soon probably using his hurdle mark. He will jump fences better than hurdles and is a horse with a nice future. The rain on Sunday night put plenty off but last night and this morning gave us enough optimism to travel up from Brixham last night! The ground was fine so what some of these trainers are up to beggars belief.

Best of luck, will keep an eye open for him over fences. Glad your long trip was rewarded. Ground didn't look too bad, at least a couple of the withdrawn horses in your race had won on soft, hard to fathom really...
