Didn't see that thank - you ronnie and you too. Had a couple quid on Johhnie D's in the Arkle think the favourite which had already had a fair wodge on is a good thing if it gets there. Hope the weather is better in Darlo than here. Fancied a day at Ponte today probably saved me a few quid and a new pair of shoes.

How many of you have "taken" the pullout from their local crooks?
|
|
By:
I thought James Willoughby had all but disappeared from public view, but no, he's done another piece for this - Who are the most effective riders? - I won't do a spoiler and tell which two come out top of those currently riding, but suffice to say, strong links to a big jumps yard in Ireland.

It's not a bad read the guy who put it together lives down the road from me Tom Park a Darlo lad made good. Ronnie. |

The Co-op near me has just closed down. Not only did they sell the Racing Post, they also stocked all its standalone supplements.

Willo's best riders. Spoiler: Ruby! A few pages later, Graeme Rodway's best riders. Spoiler: Charlie Deutsch!
Only joking. Charlie is second. |

Ruby? Prolific last hurdle/fence tumble? Only the Racing Post could arrive at this conclusion.

impossible123 -- "Ruby? Prolific last hurdle/fence tumble? Only the Racing Post could arrive at this conclusion."
Not the Racing Post, Willo and his maths. And lots of other pundits over the years. |

Forumites who cannot read the Big Jump Off can watch the Racing Post's 2-hour video on the subject.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0lER7SMZrA There are linked timestamps in the video description (press More) to take you straight to certain sections. |

Do flat breds win the Champion Bumper?
|
|
By:
Dont know and dont care , but the trainer wins a few and if its any good there will be plenty of trading opportunity in the interim .
|
|
By:
A Dream To Share, Silver Concorde, Cork All Star, Rhythm Section.
That might suggest if you wanted something to go on then you probably don't want a flat bred. |
|
By:
What did Patrick say about the horse?
|
|
By:
Patrick said (page 8): There's also a bumper horse who's going nicely, and he'll be sent on a noble mission in the near future perhaps.
|
|
By:
Strange antepost bet to have.
Each to their own. |
|
By:
Patrick's Noble Mission bumper horse Catch Yourself On, who runs today at Cheltenham, has been "pushed" to 11/4 for anyone within sprinting distance of a Betfred shop. Paul Townend's popped across for the ride. Bet365 go 15/8 for comparison.

Differentdrum - I'm a little surprised that A Dream to Share is going hurdling - I thought he might be aimed at top quality cup races on the flat. Quite possibly would be if he were owned by someone else.
