I've seen £172 million for an IPL match but the least i've ever seen is £30 million in that competition.

Think if you found a top 10 list on sport alone at least 9 would be limited over Cricket.

All the Horse races added up today will not match those figures, which I think only goes to show that Horse Racing is no longer a front runner for gamblers.Football and cricket leaves racing far behind these sports all this Premier racing changes will never change that, youngsters today bet more on the football than Horse Racing.

Cricket leaves soccer way behind Tant Pis , there's a far bigger gap between Cricket and soccer that there is between soccer and horse racing.

cricket involves far more trading than horse racing. I have a million at 1.03, i then decide to lay it back at 1.03, 2 million traded, zilch changes hands, BF make zilch commission from me. the numbers aren't what they seem.

Depends how you count it Hayden - I would expect a lot of the money on Cricket to be the same money counted repeatedly as it is traded back and forth?

Yes mate agree but we can guess who's dipping in and out on every sport and never know for sure.


Doesn't really matter a jot though at the end of the day , it's all about making money whatever does it for you 

Hayden your right was just thinking of footballs last World Cup,but Horse Racing now is way behind other sports when it used to be the fore runner.Imo when the older punters such as myself have died off Racing will not have a chance of surviving as it is today.

Worth adding though that £3.9 million was matched BEFORE the first ball bowled today , you'll struggle to find that anywhere else today.

So plenty of liquidity before the dippers get involved.
