Just noticed on my monthly credit report a soft search affordability check from Barclays Bank do not know what this was for, can only assume this was for betting on here as now do not use any Bookmakers.

it may have something to do with the new A1 digital coins being released this month,most governments planned to release their own digital coin but AI have moved faster and released this week.but nobody will tell you that.And i am sure they will be checking bank accounts for new potential customers who spend every day on the net.

No idea can't get any details so it is a bit of a mystery for me as never had an affordability check shown before.

Soft searches can be triggered via the credit reference organisation you sign up to, so they can flog you 'suitable' CCs and loans. Highly unlikely it's connected to betfair.

Could it not be Barclays themselves? If it was a company it should show the company's name. Unlikely to be betfair as Cider says.
