Depending how technically confident you feel, you could try changing the DNS server your PC uses from (probably) your ISP's one to something else (Google's public DNS in the obvious one) to eliminate the possibility you are being served with an out-of-date IP address for ATR?

Thanks Longbridge - I did try flushing the DNS which didn't help (a little technically competent) - I did wonder about my ISP's part and they were not of much help yesterday, and it is a new provider (Trooli) - superfast broadband, but not good support (a bit like another company we all know). Anyway your post helps and suggests the ISP has a part to play. I'll play around and see what happens. thanks again.

Is your PC date and time accurate?

same issues on a laptop, mac, and android phone - so unlikely to be date and time issue

I think Longbridge Google DNS has solved issue - at least for now - thank you so much Longbridge - fingers crossed it stays fixed
