Q. Is there any way of analysing trainers monthly stats without physically entering every trainer individualy in trainer stats.

e.g. Mark Johnston 7f maidens in July are profitable. How can I find more like this?

A. The Flatstats table will help here.

The tables allow you to analyse different types of races at different times of the year and much more.

With the tables you will be able to rank trainers by strike rate, or profitability and see who are the best and who are the worst.

Trainers for 3yo+ Maidens Stakes in a particular Season

Using the Advanced Tables section choose the following:

Item->Trainers
Sort By->ROI%
Date Range->Month Sep to Nov
Race Type->Ages 3yo+
Race Type->Horse Type Maiden
Race Type->Stakes

Click Go.

The report will rank trainers by profitability for 3yo+ Maiden Stakes in the months of September to November (back end season).

You can examine many things with the advanced tables such as

    Trainers with first time out runners
    Trainers with with long lay off runners
    Trainers with favourites
    Trainers with outsiders
    Trainers in selling races
    Trainers with horses who won last time out
