Sad news ,older forumites will remember him as Ilya Kuriakin ,was a massive star for a while in the late 60s ,big hit with the girls.Also appeared in many movies eg The Great Escape.Also Colditz , Sapphire and Steel ,NCIS.Died aged 90.Had a good life I would say .

Yes, RIP. David was also in several interesting films before he joined the United Network Command for Law Enforcement(?) and was a recording artist, conducting an orchestra with some popular tunes. RIP

I believe he also played a pro gambler in that BBC series Trainer - one of the most panned tv shows in Brtish History, along with El Dorado.

Sad day - massive UNCLE fan - I had the triangular badge and the little wallet Certifying that I was Agent72, UNCLE, section 7 "Propaganda and Finance" - the cupboard under our stairs was the secret entrance to division HQ - South East Northumberland division. Probably still is.
