Rumour has it the Sunday Times is working on a big story this weekend — biggest of the year, supposedly. Due to drop tomorrow at 3pm. Leave cancelled, all hands to the pump, security tightened, etc. May be a sex scandal of some kind, possibly involving a politician. Anyone know?

Just having a quiet couple of late night snifters and have to say I don't care whats going on in the world George.B. likely to be gossip.

Southport Pier has been closed all summer. Deemed unsafe for some reason. No doubt it will be still be there after winter throws it's worst at it. Used to enjoy a ice cream and a beer at the end of it, sold out of same kiosk, (Ice cream for the Grand Daughter)
H & S gone mad again, probably just a loose board or two.

Much of the time these trigger warnings come as a massive disappointment. 'This broadcast contains sex, nudity, bad language and violence'. The closing credits roll, and you're left still waiting for it.
With you there Cider. I regard these trigger warnings as an incentive to watch rather than a reason to avoid
