Having ignored invitations to verify his income, there was "the conversation" (where the flunky agreed with every objection my friend raised). The upshot was, 365 have closed his account.

Betfair forum lawyers, I beseech you; should my friend now make a Subject Access Request to ensure all data is removed?
Or should he get on his knees - lie about a legacy and beg for his account back?

B365 actually told me they wouldn't reopen my account because I only kept minimum funds in my bank current account. They said I needed to move multiple thousands out of my high interest savings into my zero-interest current account to prove I had available cash to support my B365 spending.

I told them to get stuffed.

What's the deal if you refuse to play ball point blank, is it account suspended/closed or do you still get the 100 a month limit.?

The £100 limit thing just applies to betfair. Every firm has their own rules, which they basically make up as they go along.

£10k on the tote

Is that all it takes?

That's a perfectly good 365 account closed for want of money in the current account of his bank.

Lol! 1500 on the tote, but that’s total deposits, if you withdraw, they don’t add it back on. Well it was that anyway, maybe they’ve changed it.

Don’t know what 36 5 is. Terrified of losing that account. Got a small balance in there at present. If I be snidey and take the p iss by spinning it up taking advantage of their price boosts and extra places etc, then I risk getting it closed by the algorithm that looks out for that sort of stuff. If I play fair and lose, then I risk getting closed by the safer gambling algorithm. It’s fcking stupid, not allowed to win or lose.

Always better to keep open a 365 account if possible imo.

You can teach a baby how to profit from it before it can suck its thumb.

How do they know the funding level of the bank account?

All this 365 stuff makes you laugh with some feeling that their account with them is so precious and the owner of the firm making absolute fortunes.Laugh

If you know what you are doing an unhindered 365 account is very very profitable
Unhindered being the operative word

You can request they remove you data under GDPR but they have to hold onto your data for 6 years under financial regulations.

So 365 can claim they have the shrewdest punters amongst their clientele of all bookmakers.
