I believe if casinos and of-course betting do not attract AC but online horseracing does then one can only infer online horseracing and fobt are inextricably linked. And, this is wrong. Horseracing cannot be tarred or subject to the same scrutiny and rules as fobt.

When I Buy a ticket online on the National Lottery site it tells me you have used x amount of your £500 weekly limit.

Does it still? Mine is money in account only. In the past some brokers eg TD Waterhouse & Schwab. They will charge a little more for the privilege eg T3,T10 even T21.

I thought the FSA/FCA had cracked down on non-professionals having their margin positions covered by their broker (essentially, betting on credit) after the day trader fiasco a decade or so ago?
