Well that was straight forward! One of those bets you kick yourself for not having more on. Well done Harry.

He was leaning over the bridge above the parade ring after the 5.0, staring at his phone. Perhaps he had it in a double with Seddon.

True. If Findlay had said nothing, you'd never have known a 2s-on shot was quietly fancied. Get real.

2s-on shots get beat everyday.  he said he'd been told it was a certainty, not "quietly fancied".

you won't see an easier winner this side of christmas.

held up in touch, took keen hold, went 2nd 3 out, led 2 out, easiest winner this side of christmas

in runnings dead as a dodo.

could go 2.22 at the start of the race when there's about £14 in the market.

I use to have a lot of time for him foyles but lost respect for him after Denman won his first Hennessy I was in the winners enclosure with the 3 rd horse and he made some crap comment about the placed horses, same horse 2 nd to a jp horse in the national hunt chase and despite the winner not returning to the winners enclosure due to veterinary advice jp came over and congratulated everyone on how well we had run.

By the way the winner was fine and a couple of weeks later won the Irish national

" Biggest ever bet he's told me to have on one of his. "
A twos on shot, are we supposed to be impressed or something?

Please excuse my overwhelming indifference but it's all a bit 4th XI for my tastes.

I asked Berks on here a few weeks ago how were the totepools at Lifford doing, Findlay's baby,  now that they are on the tote site now. He said very good, blah blah.

On the previous Sunday meeting there were €1,500 in the win pools on average and a monkey or so in the trifecta. Not what I'd call a success personally, he obviously didn't know they were so weak.

Having tipped it in the comp in the morning, seeing him on TV convinced me to have a bit more on it. He looked in pretty good nick and nobody can accuse him hiding his light under a bushel. Good luck to him I wish I had had the gonads to own a Gold Cup horse, instead of this crazy position of having loads of capital tied up in a house to pass on when I snuff it.
